PATH OF SCENTS, TASTES AND AROMAS OF LIGURIA
1 - We begin our tour from the historic farinotto “Da Virginia”, an institution of Pietra taste for over 150 years ! Here we will taste the legendary yellow farinata and discover the white farinata, a specialty of the Savona area.
2 - We continue with the tasting of a glass of local wine at the historic bottle shop and pour by the glass of Giovanni Battista Levo, a meeting point in the "alleys" since 1954.
3 - During this special stop on the tour you can immerse yourself in the history of Ligurian cuisine and savor the authentic recipes prepared by the chefs participating in the project "La Gastronomica di Pietra Ligure - cooking stories since 1955".
4 - A sweet and savory stop at “Cà du Din” in the heart of Piazza Vecchia where we will taste EVO oil of Taggiasche, local honey and a selection of traditional dry pastries.
5 - Let us inebriate ourselves with the aromas of freshly baked focaccias and cakes from the Eredi Tortarolo bakery since 1956, where we will taste the traditional pumpkin, sweet symbol of Pietra Ligure, simple, rustic, with a unique flavour.
6 - If we think of lavender we imagine expanses of fragrant bushes whose color fills us with amazement... at the end of the tour we will be able to taste the ice cream flavor created by "Peccati Gola Tarocco" which managed to "capture" the scent of Pietra Ligure lavender.
