Description
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Ligurian Sea is considered the most suitable for whale watching, that is, the observation of whales in their natural environment. For this type of activity we rely on the various operators who organize boat trips to places where the population of marine mammals is generally vast, however respecting a precise code of conduct in order not to disturb these animal species.
The Ligurian Sea is included in the "Pelagos Sanctuary", an international marine protected area of 87,000 square kilometers. The Cetacean Sanctuary was established in 2002, thanks to an agreement between Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco, with the aim of promoting actions aimed at promoting marine mammals and their habitat from the threats generated by human activities.
The most frequent species of cetaceans that can be approached are: the fin whale, the sperm whale, the zifio, the pilot whale, the rasp, the common dolphin, the striped dolphin, the bottlenose dolphin.
The Ligurian Ponente, between Savona and Sanremo is considered the most suitable stretch of coast for excursions, as with only 20 minutes of navigation you can reach the exploration areas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row] Prezzo
