In addition to its charming historic center, Pietra offers fascinating walks to explore. One of these itineraries is a guided tour that starts from Porta Santa Caterina and takes visitors through history and nature.

The Botanical Park is a delightful fragrant garden that hosts a rich variety of plant species. Here, thanks to specially designed signage, it is possible to discover the different plants and receive interesting information about the historical "characters" who have populated this place over the centuries.

Subsequently, the tour continues towards the archaeological site of Rocca delle Fene, located along the slopes of Monte Trabocchetto. Along an easy ascent, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea while exploring the ancient ruins. It is here that, in the depths of some caves, the remains of the first human settlements in this area were discovered, dating back to the Neolithic period.
